A few days ago I went to a breakfast networking event with some local business owners and someone introduced me as a copywriter.
As expected, the next question to follow was… ‘what’s a copywriter?’
It is actually a question I get asked all the time.
Lots of people don’t know the old fashioned term. They seem to assume it is some kind of scary legal term where I deal with copyrighting things.
But no! It is way cooler than that (no offence to copyright lawyers of course!)

It would be too simple to say that a copywriter is someone that writes. In essence, that is what we do, but it is so much more than that as well.
